Heritage & History Projects...

Maria's understanding and passion for the great stories of Art and History have led to exciting projects with The National Trust and a variety of Historical Institutions such as:

  • Clumber Park National Trust
  • Etruria Industrial Museum
  • Ingestre Hall Heritage Trail
  • National Memorial Arboretum
  • Barber Institute of Fine Arts
  • Wolverhampton Art Gallery
  • Keele University History PGCE Department
  • Staffordshire Shire Hall Gallery

Maria is adept at research and interpretation. This has led to her writing family guides, film scripts, delivering training, and giving inspirational lectures. The stories of past events are illuminated and made accessible under her captivating lens.

A package of workshops and performance storytelling are available for schools to accompany the Staffordshire Hoard Exhibition. See “Beowulf” performance read more…

"Not only do you ALWAYS manage to pull everything together so beautifully but you also get such good work from the students. I was dearly hoping that this year's stories would be of as good a quality as last year's and therefore suitable for a PhD thesis."
Allison Parr Head of History PGCE
